Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Designer to join our Design & Product Development Department. The role will support the design team in creating innovative collections, uniform concepts, and client-specific garments while ensuring compliance with international quality and sustainability requirements. The Junior Designer will assist in preparing tech packs, CADs, mood boards, and sampling instructions for both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the design team in developing concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections.
- Create technical drawings (CADs), spec sheets, and tech packs for sampling and production.
- Support uniform and corporate wear projects for international clients (Europe, US, India).
- Research fabric, trims, colors, and trends aligned with Western European and US buyer expectations.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and Sourcing teams for fabric/trims approvals.
- Coordinate with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate prototype development.
- Maintain design archives, sample libraries, and digital records.
- Support sustainability-driven projects, integrating eco-friendly materials and compliance requirements.
- Prepare presentation materials for client pitches, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience (internship/entry-level acceptable).
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D.
- Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and trims.
- Good communication skills (English mandatory; European language knowledge is a plus).
- Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Knowledge of sustainable design trends will be an advantage.
